Our exciting Pedal and Paddle experience offers guests a fantastic opportunity to try mountain biking and river rafting in the picturesque countryside and immaculate rivers of the Shimla valley.
Pedal! Experience the thrill of mountain cycling along an exciting downhill track from Wildflower Hall to the Sutlej river. The 2.5 hour ride traverses well-maintained village trails before meeting the broad, smooth tarmac road to Chaba, which is located on the riverbank.
Paddle! At Chaba, guests will raft for ninety minutes down the rolling rapids of the majestic Sutlej river, then savour a gourmet picnic lunch on a secluded river beach, before being chauffeur driven back to Wildflower Hall.

"The Peak" is a quaint colonial bungalow built in 1863 and used as the weekend retreat for many a Viceroy, including Lord Ripon and Lord Lytton. This rejuvenating spa ritual for couples uses Ayurvedic techniques to relieve tension and stimulate marma points (concentrated energy centres) around the body.
The experience begins with a full body massage, using a heated poultice packed with Ayurvedic herbs, soaked in therapeutic oil. This is followed by a massage of the face, and a traditional Indian head massage of the scalp, neck and shoulders. The experience concludes with a signature Oberoidhara, which stimulates the third eye and promotes a profound sense of oneness and wellbeing.

This is a fantastic trip for rafting enthusiasts.
