Visa information:
- All travelers to India, except the nationals of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh require a valid Visa to enter India.
- Visa’s must be obtained in advance.
- Please be advised that visa requirements are subject to change and that visa procurement is the responsibility of the traveler.
- Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of departure from India.

India Visa Requirements For UK RESIDENTS:
- Travel visas are an essential part of your holiday and you can’t get on with your adventure until you have them but they can be complicated things to sort out. There are application forms to complete, paperwork to provide and queues to stand in.

India Visa Requirements For AU, NZ & US RESIDENTS:
- Australian, New Zealand and USA passport holders (and some other nationalities too) are now able to take advantage of India's new online visa service. Information about the online tourist visa process (Electronic Travel Authorization scheme) can be found at: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in
- The online application should be submitted a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 30 days in advance of proposed date of arrival. Entry to India must be within 30 days of the ETA approval date and the visa is valid for 30 days from arrival.
- To apply online you'll need to complete the application form, upload a copy of your passport data page, upload a passport sized photograph (full face, front view and eyes open, white background with no shadow) and pay the visa cost.
- After submitting your application, you will receive a receipt number and within the coming days (the Government of India notes this as 4 days) you will receive your ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
- You will need to print a copy of this document to check-in for your flight and again at immigration when arriving to India. You are also required to carry a copy of the ETA at all times during your stay.

Arrival instructions:
- If you have booked your India tour with us, and an arrival transfer is included as part of your package, you will find our Airport Representative waiting for you just outside the Customs Hall of the Airport Terminal.

Currency and Money changing:
- The currency in India is the Indian Rupee (INR) and currency notes for the Rupee are available in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000. Money changers can be found at all airports, as well as in most markets and areas frequented by tourists.

Weather:
- North India has very extreme Summers, and reasonably cold Winters.
- The Summer months in North India are from April to September, when day time temperatures, particularly during the months of May and June can be in the 40’s C.
- The months of July and August are monsoon months in most of North India.
- The Winters in North India are from October through to March, when day time temperatures are pleasant, between 15 – 25 C, night time can be a lot cooler, with December and January seeing lows of up to 5* C.
- Southern India on the other hand is more tropical in nature, and it remains fairly warm almost throughout the year.
Internet and Mobile telephony:
-Broadband internet services are now available virtually throughout India.
-India has amongst the largest and finest GSM Mobile Networks in the world, and all international mobile service providers provide roaming facilities almost throughout India.
-It is possible for tourists to buy prepaid SIM cards, that are quite inexpensive and are available at all airports and major tourist destinations.
